One of 2 paintings created on a painting surface I purposely left outside over the winter and just found when a friend of mine is experiencing an unexpected medical emergency. The rips were caused by natural deterioration from the weather and storms. I painted this after listening to my friend talk about her change of plans for working because of her injury. It reminded me of my own change of plans when I experienced an unexpected ruptured appendix in March. While I was injured all my plans had to change. I physically couldn’t go to class or work or do much of anything and I needed a lot of help. My plans were destroyed. Or were they? My storm passed and I can do something small to help someone else now. #whereisjesusinthismess
